I have 480 2oz snappie containers that I accumulated while Owen was in the NICU. Does anyone have suggestions of ways to reuse?
So far I have come up with:
- if making own baby food to store and freeze it in there
- use of toiletries when traveling
- DH has already used some to organize his screws, nails, and washers

Re: Uses for Snappies
Salad dressing container for lunches!
I originally had the idea to make baby food and use them to freeze it. It was a bad idea. They took up a ton of room and were difficult to unthaw and remove all the food.
I've kept about 50 of them and unfortunately trashed the other few hundred I had. I thought about keeping in case of a future pregnancy and then I can use them to store frozen milk again, but it just wasn't worth it to store them.
To the poster above, my girls play with them empty, but I'd never put a choking hazard in them for rattles, etc since the girls can get them open.
To add to the future blog post:
-carry powder formula when on the go
-organize buttons, beads, craft supplies
-keep in the car to cary spare change in so it doesn't roll around
- i threw a couple with the disposable nipples attached into a toy bin for future pretend baby feeding play
