I need to detox from sweets. They say sugar can be addictive, and I believe it. Once I get started on ice cream and candy and pies ... it's all downhill from there. I literally have to break up with sweets for a while, otherwise it's like I can't help myself! I think it's all out of the house now, so we'll see how I do.
ALSO, ALSO! My cabinets are installed (we still have the crown moulding, but pshaw), and my counters are going in tomorrow. I almost have a kitchen!! That will make a HUGE difference. After we ate through our freezer stash, and got tired of frozen meals, there've been a lot of hamburgers in my life. And those usually came with milkshakes.
Anywho, yah. I'm ready. I think I gained back 3 of the 17 I lost, so that surprised me a LOT. I think it's because I've been so active with the house and the baby.
I had lost 17 pounds, but I was sitting at 16 today. Hopefully it's water weight and wil be gone tomorrow! My first goal is to lose 40 pounds with a larger secondary goal of 70 pounds. I would love to see the checkins started up again! My MFP user name is kiarox2002. (Original, I know...)

I am here too! I will be going into work early tomorrow to stop at Sam's and buy me a big old bag of lettuce for the week ($2.99!) beats the Wally word price of 3.29 where I would get half a bag.
I have chicken breasts in the fridge and will be grilling them up tonight. I need to buy some other veggies to chop up and try to plan my meals out. The kiddos usually eat before I get home or are eating so DH and I eat after that.
me too me too!!! I have yet to lose a single pound of the 10 I gained while pregnant (well I lost it all and then some in the first month and have since put it all back on) and since I plan on being pregnant again very soon I need to lose at least some of it!!
I'm washieb on MFP
Married October 28, 2006, TTC since March 2009
IUI #1-8 w/ clomid = BFN
IVF # 1 May, 2011 = BFP!!! Stillbirth at 26 weeks (placental failure/severe IUGR)
FET #1 February, 2012-- BFP! Beta #1=84 Beta #2= 207 Beta #3= 3,526
Our Rainbow Baby is on the Way!
I'm in. I'm not on MFP. I used to use Sparkpeople and prefer its recipe calculator. Now I have a fitbit though, so until it can sync with MFP, I'll just hobble along with its calorie counter. I'm loving the accountability on FitBit. Somehow I got really sedentary while nursing and sleep deprived. Go figure.
If anyone else is on FitBit, you can add me as a friend:
I'm in (Edited: kkatanick) on MFP. I have a bat mitzvah in FL in 2 weeks. I'd like to avoid the 'oh you seem to be having a hard time losing the baby weight, again' comments. If I can at least lose 5lbs of water weight I might be able to cammoflauge the rest under layers
i'd love to participate...ready to get this baby weight off. i'm doing WW online and i just downloaded MFP (colleenor). i'm up for check-ins...they helped me last time!
i'm on mfp but i haven't been using it. i'm not using it now to track foods b/c i am doing a fast for the month of january and i dont need or want to track my calories. fasting is hard enough without adding an extra step.
i will be using it to track workouts just because i like keeping track of them
my fitness goal for 2012 is to do another triathlon this year and to get stronger.
I'm getting back on the weight watcher bandwagon. however, i just re-downloaded MFP because I haven't used it in 2 years. It was pretty sad to pull it up and show my weight from 2 years ago (when I was trying to lose) and it be 20 pounds lighter than I am right now.
deeeeepressing.
Please add me: mrso
I have no idea how to add y'all. I'm going to try to update MFP and my WW ap.
I would love to do this!!!! I'm wanting to lose quite a bit of weight.Probably minimum of 50-60. I gained a lot of weight while pregnant with DS (50 pounds) & then suffered from post partum depression pretty bad & really let myself go.

I enjoyed my holidays but didn't do TOO bad until last week. I was home and enjoyed lots of comfort food! I don't really track my food on MFP, but I use it as a resource to figure out calories in new foods, etc. I get too obsessive if I track every calorie! I just want to be at a weight where my clothes fit AND that I can maintain. My goal is to do something active (gym, DVD, walk/jog) for 30 minutes every day-- that usually turns into 45 minutes or an hour, so it is a good goal for me.
Count me in! I have slacked off from WW and running recently so the accountability will be good. I just downloaded the MFP app but have no idea how to add people. My username is the same as my screenname.
Mmm-kay, I finally downloaded the app, but I haven't started tracking yet. Not sure exactly when I will start but hopefully this week.
So it gave me a calorie goal of 1410/day, but I am BFing. I couldn't find an option to tell it that, but I know I should consume more cals while BFing. What do you all think is a good amount of extra cals to add to account for BFing and still be able to safely lose weight? - 300? 500?
i'm back in and ready to lose my last 10 pounds. i need to stop using breastfeeding as an excuse to eat whatever i want!
my mfp username is jml5q
amylisa - for breastfeeding, i would search for the food "breastfeeding" and you'll see a bunch of options. i was using a -500 calorie one, but now that DS is older and eating some solids, i'm going to switch to a -300 calorie option. Basically it gives you an additional 500 calories whcih is probably reasonable, espeically in the beginning.

Married and it feels so good!
I'm back on. I've been BAD over the past month or so. Check out my blog to see just how bad. So, I'm starting from square one.
I'm bobcatsteph on MFP. I'm cool with check-ins.

I just registered with MFP under my username.
Im 20 lbs lighter from when I got pregnant but I'd love to lose another 20-30 lbs. also, I'm eating horribly so I don't want to gain the weight back.
