I have been so swamped at work (we were acquired by another company about a year ago) that I had dedicated this long weekend to go and work on a pricing project.  I have been sick since last Wednesday with a bad cold and cough, and we have been doing the minimum exposure outside of the house.  Today I thought I would feel better, so I had made arrangements to go into work.   This morning I wake up with pink eye!  I look like something out of a horror movie. I will try to get my doctor to call in a prescription for me first,  but we have new insurance, so I may have to go to urgent care, and pay through the nose today.

I guess I will just to have to accept this challenge, and see if I can work a way around it.  Pearly, I think my new year will start next week, when I feel better.  Thanks for reading.

Well doesn't that just eat the cake! Hope you feel better real soon and get some time off.

My eldest son's cat is driving me bonkers. She keeps scratching the wrist rest on my keyboard and lying on my keyboard turning off the numbers lock key. Why my desk? Because it's near a large window in the sun and she's too fat to sit on the window sill. Ergh! 

Seriously, I hope you get better and you don't have to pay a lot today.
