Double Stroller

I am sorry if this is asked constantly...Do I need a dual stroller?  We go on walks around the neighborhood, but that is sort of the extent of my stroller use.  

My kids will be 26 mos apart (not quite 2u2...but close!).  DS#1 has been walking since he was 13 mos old and he is a good walker, but isn't exactly walking on his own all over the neighborhood or anything at this point.  I was thinking I would keep my single stroller (Baby Jogger) and carry the baby in an Ergo for the first several mos, pushing DS#1 in the stroller.  Then, hopefully, we can transition DS#1 out of the stroller and put the baby in it.  Is this crazy? I really don't want to have to buy a dual stroller if I can help it... Thoughts please!

Thanks for posting, I am wondering this too and am in the same boat(mime will be 25 mo apart) and we have two single strollers, but I am curious if I need a double.
