LO #1 - Took 2 years and 2 IVFs ~ DX - severe MFI mild PCOS homozygous MTHFR (a1298c)
LO #2 - TTC 7 months, surprise spontaneous BFP!
One is for 520 miles this year and the other is for 500. If you're a more serious runner, there are harder challenges, like 1000 miles or 2000 miles.
I want to get my body fat percentage down. I got it measured at the gym today as part of a New Year's Challenge, and I'm 2% OVER healthy. For some reason, pre-pregnancy, I was even in the high end of healthy at 5'2" 112 lbs. I have a "curvy" body type, but being in the "unhealthy" range made me sad.
1) Lose 8lbs by June 1st. This may not seem like much, but I am on the smaller side, so it is hard to lose just 1 pound let alone 8. I also have a thyroid condition so this makes losing weight so difficult.
2) Work out 6 days a week. Even if I just get on the my exercise bike at home for at least 30 minutes that will count. When my kids get sick I tend to miss days at the gym and I slack off at home. No more, if they are sick, then I will do a JM DVD or ride my bike. Something!
3) Try to get out of bed earlier and get into bed earlier at night. My kids will sleep until 8 or 8:30 on non school days if I let them, which means I am sleeping that late as well and then our day is starting later and I am not getting moving in the morning. Plan is to set my alarm for 7am everyday except Sunday which will be my rest day. I am sooo not a morning person so this one will be hard on me.

Get back into my gym routine after 6 wks (age when LO's can go to the gym kids care)
Lose at least 20 lbs by the end of the year.
