Where is your LO sleeping? - clicky poll

We are transitioning our LO to her crib this week, finally! I was wondering where the June babies are sleeping now. [Poll]

  • DD sleeps in her crib at night, but not for naps. I can't get her to nap in the crib and I'm not sure I have the will power to continue trying. I usually just hold her if we're at home. Otherwise, she naps in her car seat or the stroller if we're out and about.

  • I voted ss.  She goes down for the night in her crib in her room...but usually sometime between 5 and 6am she comes into bed...it gives us snuggle time and she sleeps in another couple hours.

we also bring her right in our bed on those weird days/nights where her schedule is off...which is often these days with the holidays

  • We've been doing crib in his room since about week 4 or so. We just started doing crib naps about 2 or 3 weeks ago and it's been fabulous. He can't sleep as well in the PNP anymore lol.

This is us as well except his crib is currently in our room because we are renovating his.

  • We cosleep, though she sleeps in her swing occasionally for naps.

We are starting sleep training this weekend in which our goal is to get her into her crib that's in our room.  We plan to have her in our room until after a year.

  • in her PnP next to me.  Now after looking at the results I feel like a crazy clingy Momma. lol

  • DS sleeps in his crib in his room at night and for naps but when he wakes up an hour or two before it's time to get up for the day, we'll bring him into our bed and he usually goes right back to sleep.
  • LO sleeps in his crib until about 2-3am usually. Around then he wakes up to eat and after that its pretty much impossible to get him to go back to sleep in there. Unfortunately our bed is not safe for co-sleeping at all so a couple months ago I got in the really bad habit of sleeping on a camping mattress on his floor with him.

I would love to be back in my own bed. But I'd definitely miss our snuggle time.

  • She sleeps in her bed most of the time. We have a huge problem transitioning her from asleep on our arms to the crib. When she wakes up at night or if I can't get her in the crib the first time, her and I sleep in the queen size bed in her room.

  • In the rock and play in her room. She was in her crib until 2 weeks ago, when she decided to stop STTN. I work FT & couldn't keep losing sleep, so we tried the RnP again & it was like magic! She's been sleeping like a champ ever since. We plan to move her back to the crib soon, but no definite date yet.
  • I have never brought Stella into bed - she spent her first week or two (that time was a blur, can't remember the actual time frame) in a bassinet in our room and ever since has been in her own crib in her own room (until i went back to work,  DH and I slept on the couches in the living room and tv room because it was soooo freakin' hot upstairs and we hadn't bought a monitor yet).

However, I have a feeling that once DH is deployed, she may end up sleeping with me more often than not.  At least she will be a year old by then.

  • LO starts out in her crib and ends up in our bed until we are up for the day.

You are my twin, haha. This exactly. I am attempting nap training (in the crib) on Thursday. But he's been in his crib at night since he was 2 months.

If I could, I'd keep my LO in my room for as long as possible! I don't think you're clingy. Babies are supposed to be with their mommas. We still have the PNP set up in our room even though my DD rarely uses it. I'd rather put her in there over her crib in her room but she just doesn't sleep well in it anymore (she has to sleep on the lumpy bottom part since she was pulling herself up in the bassinet part). I can't get her crib out the door of her room so we are stuck transitioning her from our bed to her crib in her room.

    Same here. Embarrassed

  • BabyBarista has been in her crib since she was 8 weeks old. She and I both sleep better in separate rooms. Sometimes (rarely) she will join me for a nap if she wakes up from hers too early.

  • We moved her from the bassinet in our room to her crib around 5 months. The second best decision we have made.

This is all me too! I keep using the excuse that it gets too cold in her room. lol. We also let her fall asleep in our bed then move her to the PNP. Each day that goes by I know i'm in for it when I transition her to the crib! lol
