Anyone have the Fisher Price Musical Table?

We got this for DS for Christmas. He loved it when we opened it. Now if we sit him in front of the laptop, he shuts the laptop immediately. It cracks me up.  He screams when it shuts. So we open it and he shuts it and starts crying again. 

Any other LO's doing this?

    My husband's cousin got this for Xavier and he LOVES it! We call it his command station because he stands at it screaming at the top of his lungs and pounding on all the buttons. He does start to fuss at it too. I just figure it is some sort of frustration. Heh.

    LO has something very similar to this but hasn't gotten into it quite yet since he can't sit on his own yet.

    That's hilarious!  C got one for Chrismas, too, and loves it!  I think it's his favorite gift. He just keeps going back over to it. I put it on music mode and he just stands there pushing buttons and "dances". Cracks me up. His favorite part is the phone (although he gets pretty indiscriminate when he gets going with the pounding).

    My daughter tries to eat or lick the laptop...every time!  I have no idea why.  She will practically fold herself in half with her tongue sticking out trying to get to it.  Silly girl.

    We have a similar musical table but got a separate baby laptop for DS.  He does the same thing - I open it, he closes it, and over and over and over.  He doesn't cry but for some reason he has no interest in watching the lights or pressing the buttons.  He just wants to keep closing it.  My laptop is a different story - he loves to press the buttons.

    oh I forgot the licking!!! It's the best thing he's ever had. Lol

    DD got this for Christmas as well. She loves the purple phone that rattles but isn't too impressed with much else. However, my 2yo niece liked playing with it while visiting. She loved slamming the laptop closed and jerking it open.

    yes! i talked with dh about this earlier today! lo gets very annoyed at me if i open that laptop and immediately shuts it. i wonder why? too funny!
