Did anyone start today? Anyone set a GOAL?
I think my DH is wanting to do a little diet too - we'll start tomorrow, I think. I have a Roast Beef I'd like to make, prob tonight. AND I want to have Red Pepper (chinese) one last time, haha!! So maybe we'll start Tuesday.
I'd like to get on the treadmill tonight for a little bit - just to wake up my body and let it know it's gonna be tested in the coming months.
We have a wedding and beach vacation in June. So by then I'd like to lose...hmm...40lbs?

Sort of. I got back into drinking water today. When I'm home, I'm usually so busy that I forget to do it, and I definitely forgot this week. When I'm at work, I push myself to drink at least 2 of my 20 oz. bottle while sitting at my desk to compensate for sitting on my duff all day. My hope is that with drinking water today, I'll have a halfway decent run tomorrow. My neck is finally feeling better, so I hope to get something accomplished on my last day off.
I've been toying with the idea of joining a running group this spring so that I can train to do a half marathon in October. I'll have to see how the winter works out.
I am starting tomorrow. We went to my godmother's house for dinner tonight, and she always has so much good food. I knew today would not be a good day to start!
I plan on grocery shopping for lots of healthy food tomorrow. Maybe get to the gym, but I might wait until next week. Whenever I start a "diet" I always feel like I need a week to eat good and get some energy before jumping back into exercise.
My food goals are: to eat a healthy breakfast every morning, pack my lunch everyday, meal plan healthy dinners and drink more water. And just watch portion sizes... listen to my body and not eat till I'm stuffed (as I sit here soooo uncomfortable because I ate way.too.much today!)
My fitness goals are to make it to the gym 2-3 times a week and then do a workout at home 1-2 mornings before work. I want to workout 4-5 days/week.
no set weight goal for me, i just have some clothes that i want to wear that i need to loose some weight to fit into. i think i might hang them in my bedroom for inspiration- although the refrigerator or the pantry might be a more effective- lol
i'd like some snow so i can just head over to the golf course and x-country ski, but until then i think i am going to make use of my gym membership and wii fit
I'm in Lewiston. I don't know where you are...but we have an all women's gym up here - but the classes are at weird hours, like 5pm - and my DH isn't home by then to watch the kids. I REALLY want to try Zumba!! I feel like I would like it...as long as I'm in the back
my cousin started her own zumba classes, mon, tues, and wed at 7 pm @ the park school and the community center on harlem rd, she charges $50 for 10 classes. they are great i was going for a while. i can get more info if anyone is interested
Ok I just looked up Lewiston and that is much too far for a workout buddy! I am in Seneca Falls, a teensy town in the Finger Lakes, pretty much smack inbetween Syracuse and Rochester. Well, I can still be here for support! I have been trying to do some exercise at least 5x/week, which is actually a little more than I was doing before my BFP but I'm trying to keep my heart rate a little lower while actually doing more exercise.
Definitely try Zumba - it is awesome! I have a friend who tripped, then took down the lady exercising next to her ... but for most people it is NOT that traumatic!
