Advice for expanding stash for DC#2?

My DD will be 20 months when my DC#2 arrives.  I am contemplating switch her to  a cloth diaper that may work for potty training instead of buying more BG for the stash.  Any suggestions for potty training diapers that may be used even if she isn't quite ready yet?  Any suggestions for how many to have on hand for an older child?

I'm unclear on what you're asking. Are you looking for reccomendations on training pants or diapers?

We use BGs but for potty training she just goes without underpants all together.

It seems like every major company has come out with trainers in the last few months.  Both the Flip and Grovia trainers allow for adding inserts more like a traditional diaper.
