any free fireworks shows tonight?

It's been a while since DD saw some big fireworks displays so I'd love to take her to see one tonight.  It would be really nice if we could stay in the car to see them (since we're all wimps about the cold) but we're open to wrapping up in blankets if need be.

    The city of Austin is having a family/kid friendly (no alcohol) NYE event down at Auditorium shores.  They are having a firework show.  Not sure if there is a place to park and watch without going though?

    San Marcos is doing their 4th of July fireworks tonight at 9 at Bobcat stadium. You could park somewhere close and watch them.
