How long does this grunting/growling/whining stage last??

We're going on a month now and I'm over it! I want my cooing/cuddling baby back! Lol

Re: How long does this grunting/growling/whining stage last??

  • Oh god please say soon. I swear Santa took my good/ giggly/ fun/ content baby and left a whiny/ aggressive/ non-sleeping clone. I am SOO ready for it to be over.

  • Ugh I know, all lo does is eat sleep and whine! At least he sleeps though.

  • I thought my LO was the only one who was just whiney all day long. He eats, sleeps (unhappily) and whines with brief pockets of play and fleeting moments of happiness here and there. I hope he doesn't stay this grumpy! I'm telling myself it must be a teething thing...even though DS1 never went through a stage like this.
  • I keep asking DD if she has any cheese with her whine! I hope it ends soon too....for all of us.

  • mine screams too. I am pretty sure this is just the beginning :/

I HAD such an easy baby.

  • Yep, we've hit this stage too. I hope it's short-lived. I can deal with the grunting and growling (and sometimes he growls when he's happy which is hilarious) but the whining makes my ears bleed.
  • I just want my good sleeper back.  He whines and wakes up so many times at night and finally wants to eat at some point after 2am.  He also keeps waking up much earlier than the usual 7am :-(.  I know that part of it was/is a growth spurt and the other part is teething.

  • Ugh, right there with you guys. I'm so over the whining, and now she shrieks/screams at the.top.of.her.lungs. Like, ear piercing screaming. I miss my sweet baby. :( Not to mention the fact that she no longer STTN (and hasn't been for the last 2 months). She eats at least 1x during the night, but usually wakes up a couple times fussing, and will fall back asleep.  I AM SO TIRED.
