It seems incomplete to me. Ella Catherine would be sweet though, albeit popular.

Which part seems incomplete? Is it because they are both single syllable names? I'm pretty set on Elle...do you think it needs a 2 syllable middle name?
I personally like balance of long and short or short and long names. It does seem a bit "short" or "cut off" to me. I think both names are pretty, just not sure I like them together.
I think it's a great name. It feels very complete to me.
See if it feels harsh to you...
Pretend she's 9 and left her toys all over your living room. Yell, "Elle Kate!! Get over here and clean up your toys!!"
LOL, love this test
DD's first name has 3 syllables and her middle name has 3 syllables and our last name has 4 syllables. Now that she's trying to learn to write her name, we feel bad giving her such a long name!

Thanks for the feedback
I actually do prefer Elle to Ella. It's just that the two single syllable names sound choppy/harsh together. A longer middle name would definitely fix that!

Both names are pretty! They just sound kind of harsh together.

I agree that two one syllable names sound a bit harsh together

You could also use Kathleen, or Katerina. I like Elle Kathleen.

I immediately think of the word "allocate."
I like both names separately, however.
