What week did you deliver?

So many people claim that you always go "late" with your first child. I am just curious how true this is.

What week were you when baby decided to make an appearance?

LO#1 right before I hit 42 weeks and was induced

LO#2 41 weeks and 2 days...induced

LO#3 finally went into labor on my own at 41 weeks...water broke.

43 weeks on the dot with my first.  I am hoping this one will come earlier- 41 weeks would be nice.  

Don't forget to consider that a lot of people on the bump are induced and have planned c-sections- those don't count when factoring the average. The statistics for going late only pertain to spontaneous labor and the average is 41 weeks and 2-3 days. It is not an OWT.

40 weeks, 6 days. I was supposed to be induced but woke up in active labor that morning after having contractions for 3 days prior.

DS was born at 36w2d.

I was 5 cm dilated at my 36 week appt (active labor, and I had no clue!) and due to PIH/threatened pre-e I was also given pitocin to speed things along.
