Hi I'm new and wondering if anyone has had a vbac after a longer labor? I did progress but he was in distress and they didn't think he would fit, so I opted for a csection at that point. I really want to attempt a vbac with this one (I'm 20 weeks) and am just currently trying to find a physician/midwife in my area that do vbac's. This one already seems smaller than my son and he wasn't in a good position. I hated my doctors at that point and don't want to go back to that particular group, so I'm torn with my decision right now. I'd love to hear some positive experiences! Thanks!
I had a c-section after a long induction, dilating to 10 cm and then pushing for two hours. My daughter was sunny side up (OP), and never got lower than 0 station. My OB said that meant I was not a good candidate for VBAC. I got a second opinion, switched doctors and had a fast and uncomplicated VBAC.
