  • 13 weeks is too early for a Doppler. Your symptoms will come and go and in 2nd trimester is is completely normal for them to cease completely. If you are not cramping or bleeding just sit back and relax.

  • They couldn't find my little one's heart beat with the doppler at 13 weeks either...I am very fortunate that my doctor does all of my u/s in office...they were able to do one that day and everything was fine...I wouldn't be worried if you don't have any bleeding, but maybe they can move up your u/s just to double check...or if you really need peace of mind, go to the ER so they can just make sure everything is ok.  Sending lots of positive thoughts your way!

  • i am also right around fourteen weeks... ive had the same back pain this last week. i wouldnt worry too much, if they thought it was bad, they would have done more testing. at week twelve the hb was hard to find bc the baby was moving like crazy... im sure thats your issue as well. relax and enjoy it... your appointment is just a few days away. if it is too stressful, call and request an ultrasound. thats what i did when i had a little bit of spotting
  • Just try to enjoy feeling better! I woke up around week 12 feeling about 1,000 times better than before!

Please don't go to the ER for peace of mind. If they have any sense, they won't give you an u/s just because you request one, either.

I know it's scary to no longer have symptoms, but it's totally normal to feel "back to normal" once you hit 2nd tri. Do your best not to worry about it. Your u/s is next week and I hope the time passes for you quickly.

Also, if your doc isn't worried about it, you shouldn't be either (easier said than done, I know). If there was a reason for concern, they would have addressed it at your appt yesterday.

  • ive had the same problem..lack of symptoms. they couldnt find my babys heartbeat at about 12 weeks and sent me to get an ultrasound and the baby was moving ALOT. they still have trouble finding her heartbeat and im 23 weeks. i know shes fine bc i can feel her move now. im sure everything is fine. one of my tell tale pregnancy symptoms i always get is back pain. thats normal :)
  • Um, I jumped for joy when some magical "2nd tri" switch flipped and made me alive, alert, awake, and enthusiastic.

Symptoms now? I mean, constant peeing, insatiable appetite, and bump aside, I guess I might "lack symptoms", too.

Dear Jesus, don't take this to mean that I need to puke to confirm baby's still cool.  Let's just keep things rolling smoothly this way until delivery, huh?
