Wow.. ? SA results round 2.

So... The nurse called me today with Mikey's SA results.  The first words out if her mouth were.."They were excellent".  She said morph was 6% (strict) I was shocked.. I didn't think they could go from 0-6.  She said the 1st could have been a fluke ejaculate.  I am still in shock.  Mikey is feeling better about himself, which is fantastic!  So..now on to the consult next week.  I am happy to know we are definitely a candidate for an IUI now if need be.  The nurse mentioned early cycle testing..to see if my follicles are maturing.  What does that mean? I've heard some girls talk of that on here.  Sorry I'm not that knowledgeable about itEmbarrassed  TIA!

    Fantastic news!!  Sorry I misunderstood your other post Embarrassed  I didn't realize he had already done SA #2.  That is fantastic news that the numbers increased that much and the first was likely a fluke.

    I too, am new to testing and I've only had CD 3 b/w, SHG and HSG done (as far as early cycle testing goes).  My guess is that she may be talking about an antral follicle count.  From my understanding, this is to determine how many 'potential' eggs' you have and the quality.  My 'understanding' is only from reading posts on 3T though, but I'm sure there's someone here who will be able to share more info though.

    Yes..Yes!  She said that!  I was so flabbergasted  at his morph results all the word after that were jumbled together.Confused  She called me and I was off guard.  Do they do that with BW and US?

    She also mentioned if their was a "problem" there..clomid would be an option.  I thought clomid was intended to make you O..but if I'm already Oing does it just make it a stronger O?  I know she will probably answer all these ? next week.  Somethimes it helps my anxiety to chat with you girls about it first.Wink

    Glad the SA results improved. I think your nurse was probably talking about cd3 bloodwork and ultrasound. Clomid can help improve egg quality.

    Great news!!  I'm pretty new to any testing....have only had cd 3 b/w and HSG done.  We'll be getting more aggressive early next year if we're still not pregnant.

    Great news about the SA! I'm not as knowledgeable about the monitoring, but everything they other ladies have said seems right to me!
