Ummm.. Mucous plug

I am 99% sure I just lost (part of) my mucous plug. Please tell me this means nothing I am not close to going into labor.

I'm pretty sure it's not a definate sign.  I know it can reform, so I wouldn't worry too much about it!

Kind of like everything else at this point, it can mean something or nothing..frustrating!

I had a dream last night that I thought mine came out, but it was an undeveloped twin which looked fully formed and the size of my thumb.  I know this does not help you at ALL but I felt like sharing

With my first, I started labor right after, I was 40 weeks.  But I have read on here that it means absolutely nothing and many people lose theirs very early, so I am sure you have plenty of time:)

Oh good, thank you ladies. I was not prepared for that and walked out with it on some toilet paper to show DH. He wasn't too happy with that

And you just made me lol with showing your husband.  I would totally do that, and he would totally NOT appreciate that, haha!

it can reform. It can also be anywhere for 24 hours to 3 weeks or so before labor. Much like dilation and effacement, it is not a "oh my god its time" indicator.

Relax, dont stress about it. You may also have just popped out some extra moisture today is all.
