Solids how many times per day?

I have a 6 month old that is eating solids 2x per day....she still seems hungry...just curious if anyone does solids 3x a day...

If she's hungry, then she might need an uptake in her formula/breastmilk.

Most of babies nutrition should come from formula/BM for the first year of life.

And FWIW, we still aren't on 3 meals a day. I plan to start her on 3 around 8 months. My pedi says 3 meals by 9 months.

We just started solids 3x a day at 8 mos. It's still not even an every day thing because some days he doesn't want that 3rd meal. There is a 6 month growth spurt so your LO might need more BM/formula.

We started 3 meals around 7 months, maybe a bit after.

We do 2 meals of solids per day plus 32oz of formula. We will add a 3rd meal at some point in the next 2 months, not sure when.

3 solids a day along with 7 oz. bottles an hour after than...

My LO drinks around 5 bottles a day. (has one every 4 hours, except for after eating solids).

We just started doing 3 meals a day this week. For the past couple weeks we were giving her 3 meals a day on occassion but she didn't want it every day, now she wants it. At 6 months we were only doing two but she started drinking 6 ounces each time.
