...buy the wrong things at the grocery store? While I appreciate the help very much and it saves me the stress of lugging DS to the grocery store when instead he can just stop on his way home from work, when I am craving my Ben & Jerry's ice cream after being up since 5 am with a baby who is sick and irritable, who has been fighting a nap for an hour and who FINALLY crashed, I really want to indulge in my ice cream. NOT the Ben & Jerry's lowfat FroYo that he bought because he didn't read the neon green lid and label. And last night he wondered why his "ice cream" tasted funny....
Mine seems to get the right things, he just gets a TON of extra stuff that we don't need. Chips, hot chocolate, candy bars, etc. He doesn't realize that while he's at work all day, I have to stare at them and listen to them coaxing me to eat them.

For that reason I almost never let DH do the grocery shopping. Its like he never pays attention to what we actually eat or have at home, comes back with weird stuff and complains they taste funny....
and if he gets to the store after work while he is starving.... forget about it. House files with chips and cookies and chocolate and all sorts of nasty things that stay on my thighs forever
lol, yea i dont like reduced fat chips ahoy either...for that reason, i never send DH. he also always buys whatever looks good even when they aren't on sale..hate that.
This is DH with EVERYTHING! Drives me nuts. The intention is there, but I'd rather he not do a thing since I just have to redo it all. I don't like eating off of crusty plates or putting on damp jeans in the morning. I appreciate that he wants to help, but it just makes me irritated.
One day I sent DH to the store to get Shake 'n Pour pancake mix. I even specified that it would be in the cereal aisle by the maple syrup.
What does he bring home?
Egg Beaters!!! From the dairy section!!!
HOW?!?!
LOL This made me laugh
Bwahahha. Did he even read the label? NOT CLOSE!
My DH is the opposite. He wants to be so sure that he gets the right thing he will call me a million times to make sure he gets what I'm looking for....Its incredibly annoying. I wish he could just make a decision already! I no longer send him to the store, it's so counterproductive! There's no sense in both of us getting nothing done, I'll just do it lol.
