Sorry for format, posting from my phone.
Do you guys have any resolutions or goals for 2012? Mine are all contingent on my moving closer to work, therefore having more time and space. I think resolutions are better if you have a clear and attainable goal in mind to meet instead of just generically saying "eat healthier" or something unrealistic like lose 10lbs a week.
Mine are: get Hadley into training: earn her CGC, meal plan and cook almost every night: save $30 on eating out and buying unneeded things, start using coupons: save $10 per week, save money by making my own detergents: save $10/ month, be more crafty and make things instead of buying when possible; give 6 more personal gifts, pay more attention to what I can recycle and reuse: cut down trash by 15%. Exercise 10-15 mins every other day and cut out one junk food splurge every other day: lose 5 lbs a month until at goal weight.
Re: New years resolutions?
I have a few! I want to continue to lose weight (I started WW in October and have kind of gotten off track with the holidays) and I want to teach myself to crochet which I've started on a little early!
1. Spend more time with my friends. Set at least two friend dates per month.
2. Organize my bill payments. Specifically, set two days per month to sit down and pay bills to avoid late fees and so our checking account doesn't get so low at the end of the month.
3. Meal plan and coupon/bargain shop for groceries. (This was my resolutiuon last year and I kept up until I had baby/returned from ML.)
Lose a little more weight and after that maintain

i want to loose and maintain the loss of 10 more lbs (i'm on WW and have too gone off plan due to the holidays)
i want to incorporated exercise 2 days a week ( i do nothing now lol!)
and i want to turn my partially finished basement into a play/game room
Run a 10k on March 31st. I started my Couch to 10K training program yesterday.
Instead of eating lunch out almost everyday at work, I'm going to limit myself to twice a week and pack my lunch the other three days.
Mine are (in no particular order):
1. Lose weight. The goal is to be at or close to my goal weight by Ev's first birthday, which is when we'll start trying for baby #2. I really don't want to go into another pregnancy heavier than I'd like and add another 10-20 lbs. to the amount I need to lose later.
2. Eat at home more often, at least 5x a week.
3. Related to 2, cook healthy meals at home, rather than just whipping up something easy and packaged. Especially since soon Ev will be eating the food we eat, I don't want him to think junk is the norm.
4. Be more crafty - I loved making felt block animals for Ev and I got a sewing machine for Christmas, so I want to start using it to do crafts and make things for Ev and our house.
5. Work on DH's and my relationship. It's definitely been strained since Ev was born, and it's time to get things back on track. No specifics on how we'll do that yet, but it's for sure a resolution for this year.
I never make resolutions. Well I never tell anyone my resolutions so they don't know if I break them. This year it will be different.
I will keep my house more organized (well as much as possible with a baby).
I will clean my house better (crawling baby needs a cleaner house)
I will factor in my own feelings before making plans. (realized after scheduling holidays with family - I didn't get to spend Christmas morning at home).
My plan-of-actions
1. Build better relationship with MY family. I get so tied up with DHs family because we all live in the same town, I'm forgetting who raised me. Nothing fancy, phone calls, letters, more cards.
2. Get off the computer! I spend WAY too much time on the internet.
3. Cook, more at home. I am always 'too tired' and we always complain that there is 'nothing' to eat. We have a full pantry and freezer, I am sure some things are edible.
4. Get off my butt and run. I loved doing it and it makes me sad that I am not.
I have a whole list, but these are the top.
