How long should I wait for AF?

I got off BCP with AF Nov 22 and still no AF. My periods were pretty irregular before BCPs so I have no idea what to expect but it's been 36 days. How much longer should I wait before contacting by doctor? I took a HPT yesterday and BFN which was no surprise...

    60 days is the standard.

    The general rule of thumb is to wait 60 days. If AF doesn't come in that time frame, call your OB.

    My dr told me after having my IUD taken out if I haven't had a period at 40 days to take a pregnancy test, and to call back if I still haven't had one by 90 days.

    Thanks guys. It sucks waiting but hopefully it will come soon or off to the doc I go!
