So my Mom told her boyfriend (who is a jerk) last night that the reason she didn't go see him like she said she would is because we thought I was going into labor...

I was having contractions, but nothing major really...

I told her that if her grand daughter ends up coming a month early and has issues, I am blaming it on her hehe... But seriously... Not cool.

That sounds about right, my dad wussed out on going to see his folks by telling them the same about me. Ummm yeah I'm close but not any minute... I wasn't too excited to be used as an excuse. Grrrr

Why doesnt she just get rid of him if she doesnt want to see him and he is a jerk? LOL

I actually dont mind if my family uses me being close to birth as an excuse to get out of social situations this time of year. If I know who it is and can be prepared to back up their little lie. However, that has not happened this time. It did with DD though.

My SO got pulled over for speeding the other day and told the cop that he was in a hurry to pick me up because I was in labor. He got off on a warning lol.

You don't even want to know how often my DH has used me as an excuse!  LOL!  Although, in his defense, he never actually says that I am in labor--he just implies it.  I was probably only 4 months when he first used me as an excuse.  Hahaha.  If only people knew...
