DD has always been a Mommy's girl and DH was away for work for the first time for a week.  He got back Sunday and this morning DD was completely 'no Mama no, Daddy' and then threw a fit when we had to put her coat and shoes on.  It makes me feel so broken hearted

And now I have to work late tonight and and be in early tomorrow to supervise my grad student's experiment, so I won't see her until tomorrow night.

My DD wanted nothing to do with DH this weekend and it was making him sad.

I'm sorry.  DD is at that same stage now.  She was a total mommy's girl up until about a month ago.  Now sometimes she decides she only wants daddy.  If I keep her home for the day, she asks for him at least a dozen times.  When I pick her up from daycare, she wants to know if daddy is home.  She's still a mommy's girl at bedtime though.  I'm sure she'll be excited to see you tomorrow night!
