Had no idea Christmas as a Mommy would be so exhausting!!! How was your Christmas/ Hanukkah?!

Maybe throwing in a move 12 days before Christmas had something to do with it.  I was EXHAUSTED by Sunday night.  There was just so much to do with all the santa stuff, presents from us and presents for the rest of my family.  Had to get it all done in just a few days along with decorating our house.  But, it got done and we had a magical Christmas!!  I only got to squeeze in a few traditions I wanted to start but I figure there is always next year.

  • glad you had a good one!  I equate Christmas as a parent to an olympic sport.  And that is without moving.  I have a whole new appreciation for my mom now.  ha!

  • I am amazed at how quickly the holidays go by now that we have kids.  It seemed like they used to last FOREVER pre-kids.  Like the lights and decorations were up for so much longer or something?  But now, it feels like Halloween was a couple weeks ago.  I'm not ready to take down the tree :-(
