Students chose names

I thought it would be fun to have my 7th and 8th graders give me their predictions and top names for the baby. The names were pretty funny. Some of the top ones were:

Girls: Isis (I-sis), One student did just the emoticon smiley face, L, Sifire, Aaralyn, Piper, Henrietta, Cruta, CAC (he wrote 'say it fast' next to the name)

Boys: Q, Toby Keith, Lerroy, Texas Ranger, Ricky, Carlos

Feel free to borrow any of the names you like!

I also wanted to share one student's name in my class. He complains about his name all the time, but it fits him perfectly. His name is Vladimir Vegas with a last name that starts with V too. The name has certainly grown on me. NN is Vlad.

I want to hug the kids who suggested Henrietta and Piper. The ones who suggested Toby Keith and Texas Ranger both need high fives!
