Definitely GD?

Ok, so I'm 30 weeks with my twins and failed the 1 hour Glucose after my 28 week appointment.  I had the 3 hour test on Friday and called for the results yesterday.  They had just gotten them off the fax and just told me they were "abnormal" and I'd be contacted by the dietitian at the hospital to talk about diet and get the little gizmo to check my sugars.  

 So my question is, if I failed the 3 hour does that definitely mean I have Gestational Diabetes? 

I know I can ask this dietitian and the Dr (appointment on Fri) about this, but I was curious as to others experiences.  Thanks!

Sounds like it. I only had it for a few weeks, but mine was easily controlled with diet, and it really wasn't even that hard.  Hopefully everything will go smoothly for you.

If you failed 3 hour yes you have GD. I had it but I was tested earlier in pregnancy I asked to be. I tried the diet but was hungry all the time and not gaining weight so I asked for the meds again I was like 25 weeks when told had it. I had no issues after started meds.
