Oh I actually have a charting question. I've been around a while, but this is my first month charting. Up until Christmas I was temping at 5:15 a.m., but now I've moved it to 6 a.m. (hence the open circles).
My question revolves around my body temperature. DH works 24 hour shifts so nights where he isn't home I wake up with a much lower temp then the nights when he is sleeping in the bed. I don't think I've O'd yet, but hopefully will in the next couple days. Do you think this rocky pattern will affect me getting CHs?
I don't think you ovulated yet either. Anything different on Dec 25th? Thats a pretty big temp jump. It fell right away so I don't think it was O, I was just curious if there was another reason behind it being so high.

I honestly couldn't figure it out either. I put a note that maybe it was blankets? That's all I could come up with.
Thanks for looking

How much is a "much lower"? Like a full degree, a couple tenths? The open circles will for sure give you dotted CHs. It's hard to say if that detail will effect your CHs. I don't really think it will because you will be able to see a sustained rise. You might need to do some interpretation of your own though and help FF out.

My temp seems to vary between .7-1.0 on nights where DH is home. I'm guessing I'll just have to manually override it if it becomes an issue based on OPKs, temps, etc. Thanks!
I'm not seeing an RE. I had my annual last week with my OB/GYN and talked with her about having a shorter luteal phase and based on that and my two early losses she suggested doing a progesterone check so that she could put me on supplements after O. She said she would refer us to an RE if need be in April, which will be the one year mark for us.
ETA: Does that sound about right? I was going to post about it on TTCAL but got busy with the holidays and never did.

That would make sense. Make sure they do the test at 7dpo and not CD21. If it comes back low and OB can give you a prescription for progesterone supplements. I would as to be retested the cycle you start taking the supplements to see how they are helping. There are a few different ways to supplement.
Hey love! How about a chart stalk? This is my first cycle charting and I have no idea what is going on. I thought I O'd Monday, but then my temp went back down today.
ETA: Sorry I know there are a lot of open circles, DD has been waking up at weird times lately...
I'd have to say not yet. Maybe today could have been that stupid fall back but not sure. You are still BF'ing some right? I hope you get a shift soon!
PS. Happy 1st Birthday Carina!!
Yep, pretty much on demand still...which is why I was pleasantly surprised to get AF 3 weeks ago! I had some crazy EWCM on Monday so I was sure it was go time then, but no dice I guess. We'll see what happens over the next few days.
(Warning: I feel like this is a really stupid question, but I have over thought it too much by now to feel like anything makes sense)
I have a question about when to test. I have seen the chart that everyone posts saying the percentage that you'll get a correct reading on a pregnancy test depending on what day DPO you are. Do those numbers only apply up until you are supposed to get AF, or not?
My LP is really short (8 days). I am only 10 days DPO, but I'm 2 days late for AF. Is it too early to test?

I'd wait another 3-5 to test. Your chart is very innaccurate, so I wouldn't put a ton of stock into it.

The normal length of your LP has no effect on when a positive would show so even with a normally short LP, 10dpo is still fairly early to test. That has never stopped me from testing before but the chances of a positve are pretty slim.

Re: Flame Free Playdate
Hey RR!
Anyone wanna chart stalk me?? This is my first month temping, 3rd cycle that was Provera induced. I don't think I have ovulated yet?
KK where have you been? I've missed you!
I've missed you too!!!!!!

You'd be OK doing it at 6-8
Thanks. What is considered low? My doctor said if it was below 5 she would put me of supplements, but I feel like I have read 10 on here?
5 shows O...but it is kind of low. Most docs want over 10 and over 15 on an unmedicated cycle.
Are you seeing a RE?
It's over 15 on a medicated cycle, it's it? My RE doesn't supplement anything over 10 for unmedicated.
Gah! Yes, thank you! Over 15 on a medicated cycle!
