I was at BRU to buy the Britax B-Safe carseat today with my 20% off coupon, and went to ask the sales rep if they had any more in the back that might have been manufactured more recently (I'm THAT person) and the sales rep told me that they didn't carry the carseat in-store, the one they had was an online return. I was surprised, and she told me it was because the B-Safe is being discontinued by the manufacturer.
What??? Why is this? Has anyone else heard this?
If that's the case, I'll wait and either buy it on clearance when it's discontinued or get the next generation. But I am curious if it was just these reps at this BRU saying this, or if anyone else has heard it? Has the B-Safe been around for ages or something?
Re: Britax B-Safe Being Discontinued?!?
That's odd. I swear I just read an article here on the Bump that was talking about the B-Safe is one of the best strollers for 2012. It could've been the B-Agile, but I swear it was the B-safe. I'll see if I can find it.
ETA: Nevermind...I lied...It was the B-Agile. I wanted to get the B-Safe, but DH didn't like it.

I went to Britax's Facebook page and asked there, and the company said that there were no plans to discontinue the B-Safe (which, sorry for the confusion, is a CAR SEAT, not a stroller). I think I just got some bad info, but it kind of had me freaking out a bit! I know the B-Agile just came out in July, is the B-Safe that new, too?
ETA Well gee, 5 minutes of searching their website and I see the B-Safe was just released in June. Why on earth would they discontinue it already? Definitely thinking I got some bad info, but let me know if you guys hear anything different!
