Clomid question

Okay so as I have said previously... I ovulated on day 17... Which the doc said was fine... But as u know I had a cyst this month so they wouldn't give me more Clomid... They told me to try on my own... Well today is day 17 and nothing... I'm getting a little nervous that maybe the only reason I ovulated was due to Clomid... Is that how it works? I have done a lot of research on all this to be an informed consumer and I don't remember anything to that effect but maybe I'm wrong... Please say something to make me not lose hope... I guess there is always tomorrow... Trying to stay positive!!!

I don't have any real advice, but both my friend and I got pregnant on an off-cycle from Clomid due to a cyst.  (Unfortunately, I lost our baby, but I had underlying issues).

From your siggy, it looks like you might not have regular cycles?  I'm just guessing by your misdx of PCOS and the fact that you posted about getting AF without meds in April.  I don't think you should base this cycle on last month.  For people who don't ovulate on their own, yes, that's what clomid does - it helps them ovulate.  For people who do ovulate naturally, it can really change everything you know about your cycle.  I wouldn't try to compare a medicated cycle with an unmedicated cycle.   If your cycle goes on too long (I don't know what too long is, but some of my friends have called the clinic around CD40) then you might want to give your clinic a call.  Keep watching for your O, and Good Luck!!!
