Thanks for your replies to my Disney posts. I see you are from Orlando and have been there quite a bit recently so I am considering you a Disney expert, lol. Hope you don't mind.
We are going March 7-10, which is a Wednesday through Saturday. What can we expect for weather at that time? I'm assuming it will be crowded due to spring break around that time too?
Do you think we should consider upgrading to a 3 day park hopper instead of just the 2? I really want to see the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, but also really want to do Animal Kingdom.
My reasons for only doing the two day is that we are getting in around 10am on Wednesday, but I'm afraid of flight delays, etc. getting us there later, and I hate to waste $100 per person on a ticket that we will only use for half the day. Then on Saturday my parents are getting in and we are going to Tampa to spend a week there, so we won't have a full day Saturday either. But now I'm wondering if I should just suck it up and pay the money and make it work one of those days.
This (hopefully) won't be a once in a lifetime thing. I'd love to go back sometime when DS is a little older and can do more, and spend a whole week or more just doing Disney.
Any other tips or advice you'd like to share would be appreciated!
Re: **cmeon_the_water**
Thank you! I never even thought of going doing Epcot on the same day as MK, but I think that makes complete sense now that you mention the monorail, and also how crazy MK might be compared to Epcot. Then we could do AK the next day, and depending on how exhausted we are and/or what things we still wanted to see at MK or Epcot, head back to one of those that evening.
We were planning to do DTD and resort stuff on Wednesday when we get there, and I think we'll stick with that rather than adding the extra day. That's what I think right now at least, in ten minutes I might say I decided to add the extra day, haha. I am so excited, but planning is going to make me crazy.
Thanks again for your help, I may be paging you again for sure!
