believe me...I'm glad to have a job to go back to next week but...can a girl vent real quick? None of my co-workers are online or I'd complain to them.

I'm 1/2 time charge entry and 1/2 time AR at my job. I love the charge entry part of it because I've done it before, it makes me think, I don't deal with insurance companies and my days go quickly. In going back I had hoped to eventually go full time charge entry because I would get a pay increase since I have experience in that department.

I'm not a fan of the AR part of my job. I don't know it (I know, it's a learning opportunity). When I went on leave I was doing AR but in patient collections- not hard and didn't have to deal with insurance really. My boss just texted me to confirm my return date. She said I'll be doing insurance AR (grrr!!) and will only be back up for charge entry. Where I was doing half day of entering charges and half day AR before- my days will be all AR now and insurance AR to top it off. Not exciting but I guess it is what it is, right?

aww that sucks.  I'm sorry, I was never a fan of AR either and its pretty much all my experience.  Its hard enough to go back to work after maternity leave, this just makes it even harder.
