Why do my inlaws do this to me?? Ughhh!!

So over the holiday we were around my inlaws alot, which really isnt a huge deal, but somehow, someone always ends up doing something with DS that really ruffles my feathers. My SIL seems to be the main culprit and it seems to be done on purpose just to get me going. So yesterday afternoon while DH and I went shopping and we left DS with SIL, she fed him RAW cake batter!!!!!! I mean REALLY!  and she has kids and knows this is not appropriate. It makes me so mad. Now she has lost ALL of my trust to leave him with her or any of DHs family now. It just sucks!!!

I know I will sound like a kook here but I'd have to be pulled off of her by the police. I feed my kid all kinds of junk but nothing dangerous. Raw eggs are treated like a hazmat substance in my house and I'd lose it if someone fed my kid raw eggs. Luckily my IL's know this is grounds for murder.

uggghh....I would have flipped...kudos to you for handling it so well...I've been having problems with my in-laws too so I completly understand.

so i'm assuming she gave it to your LO but not her kids? I hate it when family members think our LO's are some sort of toy and give them stuff for their own pleasure or laugh. They are not toys they are human beings!! i would be VERY upset too

My MIL always tries to stick her fingers in dd's mouth to feel her teeth... I want to punch her in the face or maybe I should  just start trying to get my fingers in her mouth. Ugh. Drives me nuts! She also tells other people to do it also.

My SIL does this to my DS too. It drives me insane. I can't stand the woman. She always does it, says they are just so cute. And I just want to yell at her. But if you say anything about anything, the 47 year old baby will get her feelings hurt. I do not understand why peopoe insist on doing things to babies that the mommies DO NOT approve off.

Like seriously people, show some respect!
