XP from 12-24: 2 year molars

My DS's molars are working their way in. The sitter called and said he's been crying/screaming since about 10:30.  He will not let her near the right side of his face.  She thought it was maybe an ear infection, but he has no fever.  He also does not want to eat, and she's given him soft foods.

Besides tylenol, do you Mommas have any suggestions for me to make him comfortable and the pain bearable?

  • Baby Orajel, or even the regular stuff if he's old enough.

We use(d) Motrin at night and Tylenol during the day when needed. We found that B really loved to chew on Sophie too, because her legs could reach back to the molars whereas most teethers can't get that far in the mouth.

  • This may not help today but DD chew's on this teether & it seems to really, really help her. https://www.amazon.com/Teethifier-The-II/dp/B001MMW57Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1325017929&sr=8-2

I put Baby Orajel on it & she goes to town.  We also use Motrin.
