Italian baby girl names, help!

I posted on my month board - we found out it is a girl.  I've posted before, but I think we've narrowed down the search to a few names and wanted some thoughts.  I was also hoping that maybe someone had another italian baby girl name for us to consider.

We've decided that italian is best because eventhough we like other names, we just think with our italian last name (G ends in i, like Italian mafia) it should "match."

  • My daughter is named Lucia Anne, we call her Lucy or Lulu for short.  There are several pronunciations of it depending on origin, but the Italian's pronounce it Loo-chee-uh.

I love Elena but a good friend names her daughter Alaina, pronounced the same.  She's too good of a friend and the babies would be too close in age.  Bummer

  • I'm Italian, so I'm partial to Italian girl names :)

We chose Teresa as the MN for LO, as it's also my middle name and was my grandmother's first name.

I also like Christina, Guilia, Serafina, Letizia, Marlina, Anna, Filomena...

  • We have a super Italian last name that ends in -a so I had to avoid a lot of the overly feminissima names.

    Our list:

    Josephine

    Camille

    Cecilia

    Gabrielle

    Francesca

    Juliette

    Julianne

    Annalisa/Annalise

So you can go with a lot of french inspired or traditional European names.
