Why do you tease us so? How was the rest of your Christmas and when are you going to update us with stories???

Well, initially I sobered up and decided it was a bad idea.  HOWEVER they are all still at my house and my patience has expired. And DH is tired of hearing me complain... So, here are a few: <br> </br>

I wasn't "allowed" to cook thechristmas meal at my own house. MIL took it over and complained every step of the way about the ingredients we had, brands we purchased, etc.  <br> </br>

SILs dog peed in our house and all over a few blankets and there was never an apology or concern. They just said "oh, I'll put those in the washer in the morning..." <br> </br>

DH and i have done approx 12 loads of dishes. SIL and MIL are holding strong at zero each. The only time SIL gets off the couch is to eat. I asked her to put a can in the recycling tub (after she just set the empty can on the counter) and she was shocked that I expected her to do anything. <br> </br>

I have spent the last 6 days cleaning up after them. I have 5 days to go. I promise you that this scenario will not be repeated next year. From now on, we are doing a "come for Christmas eve... But then get the F out of my house". My home isn't your vacation rental.

Yikes. And this whole time I've been saying, "I can't wait till they have to come to us. It will be so much better!" I didn't think about that scenario.
