Best names to go with Long last name?

We are a week away from delivering and still have not agreed on a name.  We have found nothing that we love.  What names (boy and girl) go good with a long, Italian last name?  My dh doesn't like anything too trendy/unusual.  It doesn't have to be an Italian name.  Suggestions?

Nick is short and sweet and sounds great with a long last name. Our LO's name is Troy and it sounds great with our long last name, too. Others: Sam, Paul, James, Ian.

I'm no help with girls names. Good luck!

I'm pretty partial to Grant (that's DS's name) and it goes well with our Italian last name.

We have a big old long Italian last name. sounds like "big-ol-weenie" (lol- I make fun of DH with that anyway)

DD's name is Donnabella and DS's name is Dominic. So even long fns names can go with long lns- just depends on the flow.

With middle names DD has 10 syllables and DS has 11.
