TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Hi

Hi there.  I know most of you fairly well, and I thought it was perhaps time for me to knock on the door and introduce myself.  My name is Amanda and I've been on TTCAL for just over nine months now.  Sometimes I can't believe it's been that long.

I lost my LO at 10w4d, had the faintest of all spotting and was terrified so I made an appointment.  During the ultrasound I found out that our LO hadn't been with us since about 8w3d.  The beautiful beating heart we had seen three weeks earlier was gone.  My heart shattered into a million pieces and most days I feel like I am just now begining to put the pieces back together.  The next day I had a D&C.  Since then I have had CD21 bloodwork, which came back slightly lower than normal but not insanely low, and an HSG during which the Radiologist visualized some scar tissue on my cervix but showed open tubes.  My OB doesn't think I ovulate every month, but that my body gets close and just doesn't follow through most of the time.  Monitored Clomid was something we were going to consider after March if I wasn't KU before then.

Unfortunately I had to put baby making on the back burner.  I am currently TTA as I found out a week and a half ago that I was accepted into an ADN program which will be incredibly demanding.  That being said, every once in a while I have ventured over here to check in on some of my ladies and have found myself often wanting to cheer them on but at the same time hesitant because I wasn't sure that I would be accepted.  I would really like to be able to support you during your times of sadness and distress, and rejoice with you in happiness.  I hope you'll have me.  And if not, I will completely understand.  Many ((((Hugs)))) to you all, and I look forward to getting to know each of you better.
