Microfiber Inserts

Anyone else absolutely  HATE the feeling of microfiber inserts? It feels like they catch on my skin ( I have very dry hands all winter).  I just want to coat my hands in lotion before touching them.  Will it hurt them if I have some lotion on my hands when I'm stuffing them and stuff?

I don't like the feel of them either. But I wouldn't put lotion on your hands to handle them unless it's like a burts bees or something.

I would skip the lotion before stuffing. I know it wouldn't be much, but most lotions, even natural ones contain some waxes or oils that could coat the inserts and make them more resistant to water. Just throw on a little glove and see if that helps.

I ask my DH to do that part in the winter!   He's oblivious as to why I ask...and it seems that he doesn't get as bothered by the gross dry skin against the inserts feeling like I do.  I just tell him that "he's doing his part" lol
