Sore stretch marks?

What is this? I have this lovely monster of a stretch mark at the bottom of my belly under my belly button that is sore to the touch. Is this normal? It just started the other day and seems weird to me.

Maybe it's normal, but I've never heard of it... DH has lots of stretch marks, and when I saw the title of this post I asked if his were ever sore. He said no. Mine have been itchy from time to time, but never painful. GL!

I've gotten some pretty bad stretch marks that have hurt...when you think about it, its broken skin so it would make sense. I've actually had some bruising around a few fresh ones. Ouch!

Pretty sure it's not that unusual. Like pp said, if you think about what's happening to your skin it's not that surprising. I've had bouts of painful stretch marks- I think whenever they are actually stretching that's when they hurt the most, then eventually they settle down. Hope yours feels better soon!

Thanks. I have been putting extra lotion on it. I guess that is the best I can do!
