Flu-like, but not quite

DS is just about 2 1/2 and has been throwing up once a day since Thursday. We were at the doctor Wednesday for a cough and ear check (2 weeks since his last ear infection), but he was fine then. He first threw up at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday morning. It only happens after he eats a good amount of food, like at lunch or dinner. He hasn't had much of an appetite, so the throwing up has been minimal. He's staying hydrated and drinking well...

I know you can't diagnose my DS over the internet, but it just doesn't seem like the traditional "flu." No fever, but he does have a cough. Would you bring him back to the doctor for this, or just let it ride for another day or so?
