Comet (cleaning), ILs, and my pup

So I just scrubbed my burner things with Comet, then read that your not supposed to come in direct contact with it. Should I be worried? I didn't put it directly on my hands but it was on the burners when I was scrubbing them. Have any of you used it with no issues? I've used it before but freaking out now because of LO.

My ILs are on their way and its like a 13 hour drive... So I'm cleaning. MH says I shouldn't worry about it (their house is never clean). I still feel like I should clean since they are coming, and my house needed a good cleaning.

My puppy came in from outside yesterday and she wasn't opening her right eye as much as her left, and its bloodshot. Since then most of the time its fine, still a little bloodshot, but she isn't rubbing at it and she is opening just as much as the other. If its not better in the next day or 2 I'm gonna take her to the vet. I feel so bad for my baby girl

re: the comet. I think it's probably just because of the bleach in it. that could irritate your skin. I've used it all throughout pregnancy (both) and even though I try to use the yellow rubber gloves, sometimes it gets on my skin or I do something quickly without them... usually just makes my hands rough and red but nothing damaging.

As for the Comet, don't worry about it. I have been using that, along with Ajax, throughout my entire pregnancy and everything is absolutely fine. I don't bother with gloves... sometimes nesting takes over and it's too urgent to bother finding any! Haha! Although I do use a brush, normally a long-handled one so it doesn't get on my skin.
