The nesting has calmed down

I have always been a neat freak. Nesting made it a thousand times worse! For two weeks, though, I've really been slacking on the housework. That's not like me, ever. Now I just sit on the couch watching television and reading posts on TB. Haha! I finally got off my butt and washed dishes today but after that was over I resumed my position with my feet propped up, just relaxing! I love this!

    i was nesting like crazy.....cleaning......bathrooms, laundry, dishes.....then i remembered reading in  a book that when you feel like nesting resist the urge and rest instead. So off to lay in bed for a while i went.....then had lunch, and since that time ive been on the recliner.

    The thing is that watching all the stuff pile up around me is making it hard....bc i do not want to come home with a newborn and a messy house.

    I cant' wait for next week. I'll be off work and my 2yo and husband will be back in daycare/work (respectively) and I can actually get down to the business of cleaning out everything and getting our place ready for another person.

    I've been a total slacker in the clean house department too. Luckily DH picks up some of the slack but it's getting on my nerves that certain things aren't done and that it's all cluttery.

    Caon't wait to get going... Hoping I'm not jinxing myself into early delivery. eek!
