Baby Evelyn was born at 36 weeks - she is now 38 weeks and three days.

We had ten days in the NICU and Special Care Unit - she had heart, lung and eating issues but we are home now and doing well.

 I wish I would have found this site when I was in the hospital. I was a total wreck and cried almost every day. I wouldn't leave her side, ever.

I'm happy to find this site now.

It's still so hard for me to think she should still be in my belly.

    Well hello there!! I think you were on TTCAL/PGAL with me. There's nothing easy about being a preemie parent for sure! So glad your LO is home and got over her rocky start. It's so nice to have other moms who understand why the answer to, "how old is your baby" is "it's complicated."

    BFP#1 9/14/10 (EDD 5/21/11); no fetal pole 6w6d, 7w4d, d&c 10/8
    BFP#2 3/16/11, beta 138; 4/12 Baby/HB DS born 9/10/11 at 29w4d due to partial abruption and PTL

    Welcome! Glad you've found us - the emotional rollercoaster for moms seems to last much longer than the amount of days spent in NICU so we'll be here through that :)
