UPDATE: "up all night" post below

So I got desperate and called my own doc's office--they see babies too but I'd prefer a pedi.  Anyways--it was an ear infection.  After I made the post below he wouldn't let me near his ear which is very unlike him.  So I had an idea going in. He also had a 102 fever by the time I got there.

So the good news is he's on antibiotics--which I hate-but am glad for him.  BUT he's so super doooooooper congested that he was up even MORE last night.  Ugh.  We tried it all----baby vicks, humidifier, shower/steam, crib mattress up a bit at head.  Saline drops.  Nothing is helping this poor baby.

 Poor baby!  Glad you figured out what it was and hopefully he's on his way to feeling better so you both can get some sleep.

I read on a previous post that putting baby vicks on the bottom of their feet is supposed to help with congestion. Many swear by it and say it works!! My LO just got over an ear infection and was on antibiotics too. Good luck
