I've slept pretty well during this pregnancy. However, starting last week at 36 weeks, I've slept like crap. I wake up from the pain of the carpal tunnel, and now I'm just up from anxiety, I think. And/or anxiousness.
How is sleep coming for you all these days? Anyone else have labor so much on their mind that it's waking them up or keeping them up late?
Re: How are you sleeping these days?
between the hip pain, the shoulder pain (from always being on one side or the other) its almost easier to sit up in a hard back chair and fall asleep!
oh and dont forget that i get up about 5 times a night to pee....and i am so hat and sweaty that i cant stand it.

My Ovulation Chart
I'd be sleeping fine if it wasn't for my 2.5yo having some serious sleep regression going on for some reason.
I wake up to go to the bathroom every hour or so, and/or to just roll over. and if I wake up in the hour of 3am then I usually can't fall back asleep for at least an hour.
but all of that can be handled, and if that's all (meaning my son sleeps through) then I feel like I got a good night's sleep.
but something about him waking up and calling for me (even if DH answers the call) just zaps me for the next day.
So many of us in the same boat!

I haven't slept a solid night since month #4: up too much at night for pee breaks, etc. But this past week (wk #38) is even worse: leg pains, hip pains, back pains, and sharp braxton-hicks out of nowhere on top of the up 4-5 times to pee. Not to mention crazy pregnant lady dreams. The last two nights I've hardly slept at all making me wish even more that this kid better come quick!
I mentioned that I've gotten less sleep lately to a woman yesterday afternoon and she laughed at me asking if I really ever expected to sleep a full night again. That may be true, but I HATE HATE HATE it when people say stuff like this!

I've honestly been sleeping pretty well. Asleep by 8:30ish (yes, I am an old lady) and up at 5ish with my alarm. No potty breaks and not too many position changes.
I full expect for this to change soon, though.
