I don't really love any of the nicknames. I am trying to convince my H that she doesn't need a nickname   Especially since we called Gina "Gina" since birth, yet she calls herself Regina!

That's why I asked!  I couldn't think of a way to shorten it where it would still sound Italian like Emi and Gina. 

I love how it sounds with your last name.

For some reason I like Marie better than Mary with the first name.

SQUEE!!!  I love Francesca.  In one of my favorite books, the main character is Francesca, and her brother calls her Cheska, and I think that's so cute.

Anywho.  I like Mary as a middle name b/c I think it fits Francesca.   Kind of old world sounding?

I also like Piper with Francesca for some reason, but it's probably too trendy.  Francesca Piper just flows for me.  Or Mae?  Marion?  Oooo, I really like Francesca Marion.
