Storing Socks

Any cheap and creative ways to store baby socks?  So far we've put them together with clothes pins, which works, but is bulky.  Debating whether I create some dividers with all the extra Amazon boxes.  Any other ideas?

Re: Storing Socks

  • I took an old shoe box, used the lid to make deviders. Pick up some cute scrapbook paper sheets and glue to the outside for decoration.

    Poof, cute sock box.

  • I match the pairs and then take the top of one and "fold" it over the other so they stay together and then all the socks get thrown into a drawer.

For washing I keep them seperated from the rest of the clothes using a lingerie/fine washables zip top bag (the kind you wash fancy underware or delicate items in).  It keeps all the socks together so there's less of a chance of the tiny socks disappearing in the wash.

  • I roll them together and store them in a basket on the changing table.

This is what I do as well.
