Common and Uncommon names for sibset?

We have had the name set for months, but I was just wondering what other people who know names think.  We have had a couple comments that dd's name is common and ds's they have never heard of.

How do you think the names Elizabeth Grace and Clayton Michael go together?  Our last name is 2 syllable, hard C.

We use dd's full name as well as the nn Ellie or Elle.

Re: Common and Uncommon names for sibset?

  • I think Elizabeth and Clayton make a good sibset. Clayton is definitely not too uncommon.

  • I think they sounds great together, true Clayton is not super popular but it also isn't super modern, Elizabeth and Caden would make a much odder sib set imo.

  • I've heard of Clayton -- that was the name of the villain in Disney's Tarzan.

  • I think they sound really good together!  DH's cousin has Marlee and Georgia, that was odd to me. :-)
  • Clayton, while not as popular as Elizabeth, is not out there at all.  We have the same thing, DS is Max(well) and DD is Eden.  Max is inching up to the top 50 and Eden is barely in the top 200.  But, neither is so out there that they don't sound good together.

  • I don't think they are weird together at all!
