Babies: 6 - 9 Months

I have the best DH ever! (kinda long)

DH is up for a double promotion at work so he has been working a ton lately. Going in early and staying late and all that jazz. And because we are a one car family I get stuck at home a lot (sometimes I don't leave the house for a days at a time).

With a 2 year old who has fully embraced the 2 yo mentality of not listening and pushing boundaries and a 7 month old who refuses to be put down for longer than 5 minutes at a time less she cries herself purple, I have reached the end of my sanity rope these last few days. DH knows this and has tried to help any and all ways he can.

Well today is his day off so I took the kids so he could sleep in a little bit, and he told me that I get an early Christmas present since I have been such a good mommy. He said to check my stocking when I got the kids settled. What was in my stocking you ask?

It was an a checklist of stuff for me to do today:

take a bath (must be at least 30 min long)

go for a run (must be at least 30 min long)

call your family (must be at least 60 min long) ((they live in Cali and we are in Ohio))

go to the mall with SIL

make cookies (something I LOVE doing)

call 3 stables (I horse back ride and haven't found any here yet)

wrap christmas gifts for the kids

There was also a letter he had written me telling me how much he loves me and how good of a mom I am. I have the best DH!

Thank for reading, I wanted to brag to some one and my family is still sleeping! LOL
