    I love, love, love Alton Brown!!!  I met him at a book signing in Seattle.  He's really funny and snarky.

    And cookies are just...good eats!

    I met him in Florida!

    And his chocolate chip cookie recipe "The Chewy" is hands-down the best cookie I have ever eaten. Not made, eaten.

    Due to a change in plans (Hubby's work schedule and FIL in the hosptial) my inlaws didn't come for Christmas this year.  If they had I was going to make Alton's salt dough wrapped beef tenderloin for dinner.  I've never tired it but it looks soooo good.

    My sister and I are huge Alton fans.  We wore shirts to the signing that had a red circle with a line through "Unitaskers" on the front and said "Alton Brown, you're my hero" on the back.
